RC wall structure analysis
We undertake structural analysis work for RC walls using linear analysis results for verification and other purposes.
At Centuri Techno, we undertake analyses that consider the material nonlinearity of both concrete and reinforcing steel, as well as checks using the allowable stress method and limit state design method based on the sectional forces from linear analysis. We represent RC structures by using layered shell elements for concrete and adding a layer of reinforcing steel (embedded rebar) within them. In the layered shell elements, we simulate concrete cracking and compressive failure, while the embedded rebar elements evaluate the yielding of the reinforcing steel.
